Hot Tub Time Machine

Being an 80s baby I was definitely looking forward to this movie.  I’m glad to say that this movie did not disappoint me.  While it is riddled with vulgar language and adult humor, those of you who are fans of comedies such as The Hangover and Beer Fest will welcome this movie with its laugh out loud moments and awesome one liners.  Some critics have championed the movie while others have railed against it.  The best way to watch this movie is to see it as it was intended to be seen, which is to not take it too serious.  The movie is filled with references to classic 80s flicks such as Back to the Future and Red Dawn.  It pays homage to all those fun 80s B movie films by featuring a ski resort for the main setting and one dimensional antagonists who’s sole purpose of existence is to be a prick for no reason.  John Cusack, best known for holding a boom box over his head, stars in this flick but other 80s staples include Crispin Glover, who played Mary McFly’s dad in the Back to the Future series, and Chevy Chase.   Rob Cordry does a pretty good job of keeping the laughs coming and Craig Robinson, most notable from his role as the bouncer in Knocked Up, is funny as well.  The movie does shed light on adult themes like regret and the dissolution of friendships.  While it doesn’t delve too deep into them, it may hit home with those audience members who have aged past the time when their biggest decision was debating whether to hit up that party their buddy told them about or head on over to the local waterin’ hole.

Word Gets Around…Laredo360

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

For the past few months we have done a series of photo shoots for the upcoming website laredo360.com,

Laredo360.com will provide our market with a cutting edge entertainment directory, backed by progressive design, development and content. If you own a business that caters or provides entertainment to customers, you will truly benefit from this new website.

I was lucky enough to get a close look at the beta version of the site. I dont really have permission to spoil the grand opening so you’ll have to wait until it launches before you feast your eyes on it. You can get more information on the launch date and their upcoming events by becoming a fan of their facebook page.

Here is a sneek peak from one of our photo sessions back in Oct of 09. Special thanks to Carlos from Legendary Photography for helping out with the shoots. You will be able to see more pictures once the 360 site is up and running. Of course they made us save the best for last.

This past week they held one of their first events, a fashion show, at Club Vamp.

We were hired again to take some awesome pictures of the show and make a highlight video as well.  Here are some of the pictures from that night.  Enjoy!!
