Happy New Year 2010 Laredo. We couldn’t have done this without you. Please take a look at our 2009 highlight reel!
One of the most memorable days in someone’s life is their graduation.
“Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
Yesterday my older brother Rick graduated from the COED (college of education) at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). Rick is the second oldest and also the second in my family to graduate from college. The quote above describes what my oldest brother Eric did for my
family. Eric was the first ever to graduate from college from all my cousins and therefore set an example or a “trail” as the quote says that everyone else has followed.
I have always looked up to both of my older brothers. They have been great mentors and have always supported everything I do. Back in 2002 when I graduated from high school, we opened up a website called www.laredosportsrush.com. The webpage covered all local sports with cool video clips, pictures and stories. All the stories were written by Rick as he knew more about sports than one can imagine. At that time, local websites were non existent. It was a great project that led the way for many other local web pages to follow.
Anyways, many more classmates and friends also graduated yesterday.
Rolis – He gave the speech at the graduation. VIDEO will be posted later this week. Great speech by the way.

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Missy Sanchez from Bridgewater, NJ.
She is a Laredo native and was planning on visiting friends and family for a few days in Laredo.
Her main purpose for the trip was to celebrate her first baby shower. (Missy is also sister to one of my best friends from high school Ralf Rodriguez)
Missy was interested in getting pictures done of her first pregnancy. Thats were I came in the picture.
I told her that I would love to do it, but that I had no clue of how to go about shooting this, since it would be my first maternity shoot.
As you all know me (not really), I accepted the challenge and booked the shoot.
It turned out to be a great experience and we created some very creative and cool shots!
