Anyways I wanted to give special thanks to IVAN aka Van-Z, Bobby Fresh, King RC, SCHEME, Carlos Ramirez (legendaryphoto.com), my wife & kids (Susana Castillo), and my brothers. These people helped us out at sometime or other during the production of the music video for Chicano. Its finally complete!! Abel and I are hoping we get to work on more of these projects. Last night the weather in Laredo got really bad. I spent most of the night trying to capture some lightning.
Unfortunately I came a bit short, but I did managed to create some good images using the lighting as my fill light and my sons soccer trophy.
The pictures were inspired by the Champions League final. Barcelona won 2 goals to 0… ETO and MESSI scored the goals for Barcelona..

Last month was a very busy month for me and abel. We had alot of projects to work on. one after another, they just kept coming. Some projects were personal and others dealt with cinedelaredo. We were kinda overwhelmed with work and sort of lost focus on keeping up with the updates on the blog. Anyways, it seems were back on track. We should be finished with two of the three music videos that we are working on by next week at the very latest.

By the way, one of the music videos is being recognized already in different parts of the us. I came upon a blog from chicago, and it was mentioned. Please visit www.blog.superjdesigns.com if you want to read more on this.

Also, I wanted to share some pictures that are some what personal to me. My godfather visited me for the first time in Laredo. My godfather is from Guadalajara Jalisco and had never been to Laredo. It was great to finally get to hang out with him in my home turf.
It was very emotional to see him leave. Both me and him have always been very close to each other although we live hundreds of miles apart. Although, I dont ever think Ill forget that day he had to go back home, I still took some pictures for my personal photo album. check them out..

Just kidding. These are all pictures from one of the coolest weddings Ive ever been a part of. As I was shooting I thought it would be cool to make a collage with this theme. The Godfather is one of my favorite movies of all time. One of the reasons I love shooting pictures is because it captures the authentic persona of each individual. A picture can say a thousand words, but a series of pictures can evoke millions of emotions.

Now that Im done with my finals from school I can concentrate more on doing photoshoots and developing more pictures that I have already shot. I will post more pictures from Elisa and Jose Luis wedding shortly.

While Abel filmed the whole game, I enjoyed some food and drinks and watched the game from the sidelines. I did get some footage in between drinks to make a highlight video for those who missed the game. Check it out and comment if you like!!
