I LOVE KIDS!!! People are always asking kids what they want to be when they grow up, so they can get ideas. At least thats what I did. I asked my son the question, and he answered “I want to be an artist.”  

I consider myself more of an artist than a photographer.  I’ve always been submerged to the beauty that art brings to this world. Many ideas come from wonders that have crossed a kids imagination at sometime during their childhood. When I was growing up I would spend most of my day living in my imagination.  Funny story, growing up, my mother thought I was going to be the first hispanic president because I was always coming up with new ideas on how to do things differently…(LOL… sorry mom, cant say I didnt try!!!)  Anyways, I took pictures of these kids with the intention of making a collage. During the time I was shooting the pictures, I already knew they were going to make a great combination of characters. Each one of these kids will eventually have their own story, their own book. There story has begun, and hopefully one day this picture will remind them of their beginnings. their roots!
