We are currently in Austin for SXSW! For those of you unfamiliar with SXSW (South by Southwest), it is a week long film and music festival that takes place in Austin, TX. Venues and restaurants all over the city are hosting thousands of not only new and upcoming bands but some well established ones as well So far we’ve heard some great bands, drank good beer, ate some awesome Bar-B-Q and of course taken spectacular pics. If you’re ever in Austin, we recommend you check out the Salt Lick, a local Bar-B-Q joint in Austin, where you’d be hard-pressed to find better Bar-B-Q anywhere else. Complimenting the meat and quenching our thirsts were a couple of Hoegardens which completed that picture perfect Texas afternoon for us.
But our trip hasn’t been only about filling our mouths with good food and drink and ears with good music. We also had the privilege and pleasure to sponsor one of the concerts in Austin. We sponsored a concert for Austin Pet Alive!, a non-profit organization in Austin dedicated to finding homes for abandoned pets. So far we’ve had a great time meeting all bands and different people from all over the world. We have plenty of pics to share with you all over the course of the next few weeks, so be on the lookout!
