Elizabeth & Valentin – Wedding Day

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Wedding season kicked off a bit early for us this year. This was our first wedding of the year and it was surely fun and exciting. Weddings are very fun to shoot, especially when people open themselves and let us do our job. This couple was very special to me because they were one of the first couples I ever booked. After them things just got busy for me. I was fortunate to shoot their engagement, bridal and wedding pictures.

Congrats to Elizabeth and Valentin, who just came back today from their honeymoon!!

I usually get a few funny pictures at every wedding but I never have the courage to post them, but this year…. things are a bit different. Ill be posting a few funny pics from each wedding.

A Friendly Offer

This past weekend Jeffrey was in Austin for a photo shoot.  After the photo shoot we made our way to the best pizza parlor in Austin, TX, Home Slice.  While waiting for our table to be called, Jeffrey and I  headed over to the patio for a couple of brews.  Unfortunately there were no tables open until this kind couple offered to share theirs with us.  We enjoyed getting to meet them and were so glad they let us photograph them.  Just one of those days you can only experience in Austin.

Cassandra and Oscar

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

Last week Jeffrey was able to take some pictures of this really cool couple.  For this engagement shoot, Jeffrey really wanted to try something different from his other shoots but at the same place the couple in an environment that really complimented their energy and artistic personalities.  After driving around Laredo for a while, Jeffrey and the couple decided on the carnival.  After drawing inspiration from John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John’s iconic date in Grease, Jeffrey felt the the pure unadulterated fun the carnival represented and its infinite palette of colors would be the ideal setting for this amazing couple.  It wasn’t long before Cassandra and Oscar became the main attraction at the carnival.  Instead of flocking to the rides, people we coming over to see the shoot unfold.  We’re really looking forward to their wedding day.
